what do others add to their baked bread ?

Me and my DD have mastered bread baked in the Oven since she made Bread at school last week. It's been so successful we made it three times each time with cheese inside and on top. We platted the bread it's all very Masterchef right now. What else would be interesting to add to the bread other than cheese any ideas ? I could only think of olives but I don't think we'd like that ?

Rosemary? I love Rosemary bread from our bakers.

Some mixed spice/raisins would be yummy slathered in butter , if you fancied a sweet version.

Seeds on top.
Sundried tomatoes, olives, parmesan.

Yes some great ideas and Thanks ladies I love rosemary and I guess I could add garlic and make our own garlic bread I never thought of that !

Seeds. Tesco do a mix of sunflower, pumpkin, poppy and sesame which I like to mix in.

Seeds here too - whatever I have, current fav bread includes salt, honey, olive oil, sunflower, poppy, pumpkin, sesame and linseeds, 100g rye flour, 100g spelt and 300g granary.

Sometimes I press pieces of new potato, oven roasted tomatoes, rosemary, sea salt and garlic onto a flat/focaccia type bread.

How do you make the seeds stick to the bread?

I add loads, prob 6/7 tablespoons worth, I add it to the flour so they are all through the dough/bread.

If you want seeds on top, do an egg wash then add them (not the other way round, as they'll fall off)

Caraway seeds - now you're making me hungry.
