Food processor

Hi all

I have a Kenwood Chef which I love for baking but I want a food processor to do the things it doesn't - slice/dice/chop (basically anything requiring a blade) but I don't want to spend extra on the things my chef can do like whisking / beating and making smoothies.

If anyone has a recommendation that would be great! Thanks

This thread is very old now, so some of the suggestions may be out of date, but if you’ve landed here looking for the latest advice and guidance, we’ve recently updated our best food processor page with the models MNers love. We hope this helps.

Can't you add a processor to your chef, I thought that you could buy it separately and it goes on the top?

You can thefemale but I can't seem to find it anywhere for my model. JL sold me one but it doesn't fit my machine (despite me asking if they were sure!).

Magimix. Expensive but worth it. Super powerful, long guarantee and you can use it for anything. We bought one last year after much deliberation and online research, and its the best kitchen appliance I've ever had, it gets used more than the oven!
