Made this once - was lovely but very rich. Think if i was making it again i'd replace some of the cream with creme fraiche.

Isd it a whole chicken, I can point you in the direction of a lovely roast chicken with lemons in that is very very simple and gorgeous.

yes skribble it is a whole chicken. thanks for the offer, but i roast a chicken most weeks, just thought i'd do something a bit different....

No probs roasting a whole chicken is a one off for me, but I may do it more often now .
