new to Instant Pot - recipe help please!

I've just bought a shiny new Instant Pot Duo (7 in 1) and don't really have a clue what to do! Are there any recipes you particularly recommend for a beginner? Need to prove to DH that it is worth it.

Don't be terrified as they are very safe to use. I don't have the Instant Pot but something similar and use it daily often several times a day.
For many years I cooked with a stove top pressure cooker until around six years ago when I switched to the electric one. One of my sons and daughter in law also have one and use it more and more as they learn to make the most of it.
I recommend you have a look at the link below as pressure cooking is well explained.
Congratulations on your purchase as I'm sure once you become familiar you're going to love it. You'll save on time, fuel and gain on flavour.
I use it for pulses, meats, soups and stocks, steaming vegetables, even hardboiling eggs in a steamer basket as they peel very easily when done this way. I have two of the inner pots as that way I can make a say beef ragou, or chicken in a sauce take the pot out once cooked and cook the potatoes for the mash in the spare inner pot. When I mash the spuds I switch pots around again to heat the meat or chicken through. As you become confident you'll discover lots of little tricks to make the most of your cooker

Soups like cauliflower and/or broccoli and cheese (add the cheese in the bowls) are easy peasy - fry your onions and a bit of garlic if you want, then put in your florets and some stock (less than you would on the hob as very little liquid escapes) and cook on 'Soup' for 5 minutes EH VOILA!
