Following on from the chicken thread, now in classics, I'm sharing what I did with my gammon.
There's just two of us, me and 14 yr old DD.
Obviously, before someone points it out, you won't be full on the meat part of the meal, also, if you see one meal on a plate in the photo, obviously there were two, we had one each.

I've tried before but they never come out as good as buying proper ones from a bakery. They sell them here in the supermarkets but they are just large normal bread cakes and not stottie at all! Liars Grin

Brillo thanks so much for the inspiration! I never cooked Gammon before, I'm going shopping tomorrow and will buy one and will try and do some of your recipes Smile
Please could you tell me how you cooked the joint? Did you soak it overnight? And did you really not put any water at all in the slow cooker? Nothing?? Did it not stick to the bottom of the pot? Or did you sit it on top of anything?
