Dinner for friends ideas

Hi there
Could do with some ideas for what to feed 10 adults over for dinner?
Have had this group a few times so running out of ideas so would live to hear anyone else's dinner plans especially if they don't involve too much last minute faff as I prefer to be drinking socialising then .
My fail safe for anyone interested is stuffed porchetta, dauphinois potatoes and peas/gem lettuce/leeks etc braised. So easy to do most of it in advance and doesn't ' spoil'
Anyone? 😀😀

How about -
Delia's Hot and Sour Pickled Prawns with naice bread and butter

Then:
Waitrose Pork with Hazelnut Crust - can be made ahead then bunged in oven when eating first course along with baked mash potatoes (make ahead and then bake when baking Pork)

www.waitrose.com/content/waitrose/en/home/recipes/recipe_directory/p/pork_with_hazelnut_crust.A5.html

I usually serve with boiled green beans, salted with no butter as the other 2 are quite rich. (just 4 minutes to boil so quick again)

I've done this one for up to 12 and it's great for maximising "table time" and minimising faffing.

Share your stuffed porchetta recipe?

Ooh that pork looks nice!
Porchetta I do is a mix between these 2 recipes. I sort of do the beautiful stuffed version but omit the oysters and insert some pork mince from genarro recipe. But it's really not essential re the exact amounts of anything. But it really is a winner.

And genarro version

And for completeness
www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/wordofmouth/2013/apr/11/how-cook-perfect-gratin-dauphinois
This series is so good by the way if people haven't seen before. She tries every version then comes up with a mish mash version which works best. Only thing I would say is that I think it takes longer to cook than this.

Oh, I like those "how to cook the perfect..." articles.

Thanks for the links, they look great.

These lamb chops are really tasty and a bit different - www.eatdrinkcook.co.uk/sun-dried-tomato-black-olive-crusted-lamb-chops/
Or Salmon en Croute - www.eatdrinkcook.co.uk/recipe-salmon-en-croute/ which can be prepared in advance and then just popped in the oven at the last minute
OR you could do a big one pot like this Feijoada (Portuguese Pork & Chorizo Stew) which is really easy to make but a bit of a crowd pleaser :) www.eatdrinkcook.co.uk/recipe-feijoada/
