Quorn (vegetarian) beef strips?

Roasted mini tomatoes

Goats cheese or similar

Buddhabuddha · 03/02/2016 18:54

Yup some nice slow roasted tomatoes. Or Rosemary roast potato cubes. Or diced beetroot with a horseradish dressing.

KitKat1985 · 03/02/2016 19:04

Cauliflower cheese?

BettyOctopus · 03/02/2016 19:06

Vegetable sausages?

IHaveBrilloHair · 03/02/2016 19:07

Roasted mushrooms and chestnuts

Twowrongsdontmakearight · 03/02/2016 19:14

We put veggie sausages with ours

FishWithABicycle · 03/02/2016 19:20

I'd much rather have some sautéd Quorn steak strips with a splash of bisto veggie gravy than roast tomatoes, personally.

I wouldn't :-)

Be careful with Quorn if you serve it, some people react badly to it get the wild shites

Buddhabuddha · 04/02/2016 09:39

Thanks for heads up Brillo, I didn't know that...

Not related but that reminded me of many years ago in America reading "can cause anal leakage" on the back of a packet of fat free crisps I was tempted to try.

Red onions with red wine (like an onion gravy)

Roasted root vegetables with some kind of gravy

whois · 04/02/2016 22:35

Oh yes some slow roasted balsamic onions with a pinch of thyme would be good!

ouryve · 04/02/2016 22:40

Roasted onions most definitely a more naturally fitting filling than tomatoes. Flavoured with thyme or sage.
