Icing a birthday cake

I've made a chocolate sponge cake for DDs birthday tomorrow. I've made the chocolate ganache and the decorations already. I've bought some ready to roll sugar paste to ice it with and I'm just wondering if I do it now will it go too hard or will it be ok til tomorrow?

Thanks in advance.

It'll be fine, I do mine up to a week in advance.

Happy decorating.

Great. Thanks. Do you cover it or put it in a box or something?

Mine normally go on cardboard cake boxes, but covering it will be fine. Don't put it in an airtight box or the fridge or the sugar paste will sweat.

Lovely, thank you. I'll put it on the cake stand and put it in a big cardboard box overnight Smile
