Brûlée slice of fruit, question

I saw a recipe for baileys bread and butter pudding which looked yummy. However in the photo it was severed with a slice of brûlée orange and it just really made the dish pop.
How do I brûlée a slice of orange please?

Sugar and a blowtorch

According to my head chef you slice orange, sprinkle with sugar and blow torch it. I would try under a hot grill as I dint have a blow torch at home.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking but I wonder if I was missing something. I'm thinking of serving the baileys bread and butter pudding with a slice of orange brûlée and coffe ice cream. Does that sound ok? It's for a casual dinner party.

Well, I adore bread and butter pudding, and love Baileys, so it all sounds amazing to me.
