Hi, probably a dumb question, but I brought a jar of Robertson mincemeat to make a cheesecake, I've added it to the cream etc, but now worrying whether the mincemeat needed cooking first. Anyone know, it doesn't say so on the jar.

Thanks,
Caz

I am sure that it will be OK. Most of it is dried fruit and sugar. You probably won't notice the bits of vegetarian suet.

Based on the amount of mincemeat I have eaten straight from the jar in my life.... You should be fine! Wink

Thank you, I thought so, but after speaking to my sister, she made me doubt myself.
