Just back from Waitrose where I bought a piece of bone marrow for 99p :) Never eaten it. What can I do with it? Can I make a broth with bone marrow alone?

Roast it the oven then scoop it out and eat it on toast. Or on a steak. Or on a big grilled portobello mushroom.

Bone marrow broth (roasted then simmered) is a great base for gravy with a roast.

Risotto Milanese, or just give it to me.

Thanks for your replies. I might just make broth with it!

Roast it and eat it. Quietly, as soon as everyone knows how him to is they'll all want it!
