Burgers - what am I doing wrong?

When I've made them from scratch they've ended up a bit bland. I'm using mixed herbs, salt, pepper and some tomato puree to add to the flavour, what am I missing?

If I make burgers from scratch I use really good steak mince, salt, pepper, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, half a tsp of English mustard, an egg and a couple of handfuls of breadcrumbs.

Ooh I can add in the worcestershire sauce and mustard! I do use the egg already, forgot to add that in to my initial list. Thank you

I use a food processor to make mine.

Firstly, I will combine onion/garlic/fresh parsley and finely chop in the processor.

Secondly, I'll add my seasoning, a few drops of soy sauce and maybe some chilli and roughly chop.

Lastly, I'll add the mince and mix all ingredients.

I also in the past have added Parmesan cheese.
