Artificial white cream

I was in the bakers the other day and picked up a jap cake and a shoe horn pastry which got me to thinking: 'that's not real cream, how do they make it?)

Google was my first port of call and three solutions seemed to be in the (pardon the pun) mix
Use a combination of: caster sugar, water, vegetable oil, Trex, vanilla extract and icing sugar. (The combination of Trex and oil is pretty of putting!
Standard mock cream with white colouring.
If using butter then a pin head of epurple colouring

Of course it could just be a commercial mix. A bit like Dream Topping

Now I'm not to sure if I've got my terms right but I'm talking about the he white artificial cream you'd get in a pastry

Would you have a recipe and some advice as to how I might get this White 'Cream'

I call it synthetic cream and see online others call it mock cream.

I'm a bit weird as I love that synthetic cream!!!! Not so keen on real cream. Odd I know!
