Gawd, I'm drooling already! What size cake tin?

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 19/12/2006 18:39

I make mine in 2 standard loaf tins so a square one of similar proprtions would be fine!

danceswithreindeer · 19/12/2006 18:47

EH? Aren't loaf tins long and thin and deep? Does the square one need to be deep?

foxtrottothefestivegrotto · 19/12/2006 19:10

i have loads of lemons in the fridge seeking a purpose in life, i will give this a go.

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 19/12/2006 19:45

? The square tin I have is about the same as my 2 loaf tins put side by side... I make 2 loaf shaped LDCakes because I find it cuts easier.

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 19/12/2006 19:55

I made one about 1/2 a loaf tin, and two round tins with some butter icing in the middle

SpicymulledSheraz · 19/12/2006 20:05

Miight have to give this a go. Sounds fab!

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 19/12/2006 20:08

Flame, you could post me some of tomorrow's batch if I wasnt on a major diet now

Lucy1977 · 19/12/2006 21:28

Oh wow, thanks for the recipe - sounds delicious.

Is this one of those that tastes better the day after baking or just delicious warm? I'm going to make it and take to my weekly mum and baby friends on Friday, so shall I bake thursday or friday morning?

Thanks

Lucy

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 19/12/2006 23:41
