Roasting pickled beetroot

I've got a huuuge jar of pickled baby beetroot left over from christmas.
Would they taste horrific if I bung them in oven and roast them?

I can't think they'd be awful, but not really sure it would be that great either.
Try it and see.
I just chopped some pickled beetroot finely, mixed with a little redcurrant jelly and used as a relish for lentil burgers topped with goat's cheese, it worked brilliantly.

That sounds interesting.... I had a really nice beetroot relishy thing at a restaurant once. Might be something to think about. Thanks

It wouldn't work. They keep for ages in the fridge though, ignore what the jar says.
