Help with what to do with small overripe banana mountain

Hi - there are 9 of them lying there getting more ripe by the day - only need 3 for a banana cake! Any interesting ideas (including recipes) for what I can make with the rest please?

You can make granola with ripe bananas. Mash them up, mix with oats, nuts, honey/ syrup and a couple of tablespoons of oil. Spread it out on a baking tray and bake, turning it over regularly. It'll keep in jars for a while once cooled and can be used instead of cereal.

Wow! Thanks everyone - doing cookies and pancakes today - and freezing what is left for ice cream and smoothies - granola sounds great too, as does caramelised ones for pudding - and banana porridge! Think may have to create a regular mountain of overripe bananas! Wink
