Taking dessert to a NYE dinner party.
None of us are fussy, it's for four people. No allergies.
I want to make something tasty, not too complicated and nothing that requires work whilst we're at the party... I.e. Want to shove on table and forget about it on arrival...
Any ideas? Thanks.

Grasshopper pie goes down very well, there is a recipe on nigella website.

Ultimate chocolate torte, from the BBC good food website. It's decadent and delicious and easy peasy.

I do mine with a biscuit base but it doesn't necessarily need it.

These are super easy and have gone down well every time I've made them. Obviously you have to like white chocolate, which some find too sickly, but I find the balsamic strawberries balance it a bit. You could make it with dark chocolate I suppose! www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2108/basil-and-white-chocolate-creams-with-sticky-balsa

Black Forest trifle You've just reminded me to make this for NYD, I think.
