Anyone ever made salt and pepper chips?

Anyone got any tips or a good recipe that you've used? Also, I was going to do homemade chips but I've read that frozen oven chips work better, is this true? Smile

Not salt and pepper chips but I do regularly make salt and chilli chips for DP who is doing weight watchers. I make them in the air fryer so just add a few sprays of frylite with salt and chilli flakes as well as a sprinkle of garlic and a tiny bit of mixed herbs.

They come out brilliantly and have converted him from frozen chips to proper spud chips and really helped his weight loss.

I love proper chips. I peel them (or leave skin on) soak for an hour, change water and soak for another 2. No idea why it's just how I do it. Dry them with kitchen roll then spray with oil, salt and pepper and bake at 180 fan assisted Till their done how i like em.
