Meat Thermometer

I would appreciate any recommendations for a thermometer - do I need to buy an expensive one or are the inexpensive ones just as good? Thanks

Thermapen is one of the best ones, the build quality is fabulous but they are expensive. I got one on e-bay direct from them at half price as it was a discontinued colour. It will last a lifetime and be very accurate.

I picked up fork style one in Argos for about a tenner and it's been great.

Thermapen are fast and accurate - we no longer over cook our meat just to be sure it's cooked.
