Am serving smoked salmon on brown bread as a starter today and have found an unopened pot of John West Lumpfish Caviar in a (non-refrigerated) cupboard which I thought would be nice to have on the table for those who might fancy eating it with the salmon. The problem is that the use-by date is 30.05.14. Would it be ok to serve, do you think? Thanks.
