Cooking pheasant

I have two brace of phesant (4 birds). I've never cooked pheasant before. Should I roast or slow cook, or what?

Does anyone have a tried and tested pheasant recipe to share?

It ca get very dry, so I would usually casserole it or put it in a game pie.

I'm thinking about putting if in the slow cooker, but I guess it won't take all that long??
