DH and I bought a few bits in M&S today as we have friends over on Boxing Day and I will be doing a buffet. Hubby wanted a nice pork pie and we bought a cranberry topped one which looked lovely and festive.
Now we are home we have realised its best before 24.12.15. In my defence DH had gone into grumpy sod mood who had exceeded his limit of 1 hour of shopping before he turned into a petulant child and I just wanted to get our bits and go before I throttled him in the middle of M & S!! I didn't even think about checking the use by date 
Do you think it will be ok for Boxing Day? I don't want to poison our friends!
