What to serve with Beef Wellington

Thinking of doing Beef Wellington for a family meal this week. Was thinking of serving with dauphinoise potatoes, green beans and red cabbage, does that sound ok?

I'm not bothered by gravy/sauces but some people seem to have it with everything - would you make a gravy to go with this, or if not would you serve some sort of sauce?

Sounds lovely. Never tried it with gravy - Bearnaise Sauce is what we used to have.

Read the title and thought,"it has to be dauphinois"! Your menu sounds lovely, I don't think it needs a sauce.

Yay to dauphinois

I thought the dauphinoise was fine as it is in a sauce as such. DH planted the seed of doubt in my mind when I ran it past him earlier.
