Balls - forgot to defrost the chicken carcass

I'm meant to be making stock for tonight's dinner. Can I just whack the solid bastard in a saucepan with the veg and cook it as normal? It will be on for a couple of hours...

Anyone see any problems with this? It won't reanimate the frosty fucker's dead gnawed-on bones or anything, will it?

(Hmm, is so much swearing necessary in a thread about making chicken stock? Oh well, fuck it)

Stock has been bubbling away for a while now and I'm pleased to report I haven't been pecked to death by a zombiefied chicken yet (good luck with that without a beak, hah!).

I can't believe it's never occurred to me that I could just cook it from frozen before. What a pillock.
