My favourite is pasta twists (so dressing holds better) with courguette and red beans. I fry chopped onion and garlic in oil, add chopped red pepper and when almost done add cubed unpeeled courguette. Cook until tender adding salt, pepper, herbs and pinch of chilli. Add a good dash of vinegar and cooked pasta and beans. Tastes better after a few hours.
Mediterranean : cooked pasta, tuna (or salmon, turkey, chicken or crab), grated carrot, corn, sliced olives, halved cherry tomatoes, finely chopped spring onion. Season with salt, pepper, herbs, a nice vinegar and olive oil.
With mozzarella: Pasta twists (fussilli or similar) black olives, chunks of tuna, pieces of mozzarella, halved cherry tomatoes, season with salt, pepper and oregano. Wine vinegar, olive oil and chopped basil.
Creamy salmon: short pasta, add cooked cubed salmon. Mix mayonnaise with a little salt, white pepper, mustard, few drops of lemon juice and olive oil. Stir in chopped fresh dill and mix into pasta and salmon.
Pasta Cesar: On a bed of salad greens, pasta, grilled or crumbed chicken, halved cherry tomatoes. Season with Cesar dressing and top with crutons and parmesan cheese. Could add some pine nuts or walnuts.
