Tried and tested Oatmeal and Raisin cookie recipe

Hi

I'm looking for a tried and tested Oatmeal and Raisin cookie recipe. I'd like them to be chewy and crunchy, American style I guess. Every recipe I've tried so far has turned out cakey. Thanks!

DH favourites are the ones from asda, would love to attempt to recreate them.

There is an absolutely delicious one in the Hummingbird Bakery book. I don't have it here with me but perhaps you can google it? Whenever I make them, they're gone by the end of the day

Try the variation at the bottom of the recipe above for oat and raisin cookies, they are lovely

I swear by this one, you can mix and match it a bit as well, eg replace raisins with cranberries and white chocolate, use dairy free alternatives, etc.
