Quick question re storing iced cupcakes

Sorry, I know it's probably come up before..

I've made 4 dozen cupcakes that I need for Wednesday. I've frozen them for now but would they still taste fresh if I ice them tomorrow as I don't have time on Tuesday?

Half are normal buttercream and the other are chocolate ganache/fondant and I only have cake tins to store them in - would they be airtight enough to keep the icing ok and the sponge still fresh-tasting? Do I need to put them in the fridge?

Any advice appreciated!

Don't refrigerate they might dry out. Airtight tin should do it.
Are they oil based cake, they keep better.
