I need to take a "themed" plate of food to an Oscars party - any suggestions?

It can be ordinary party food but I need to give it a film/tv related name.

Dh and I are going as Shrek and Princess Fiona, so maybe Shrek-related food.

I'm completely at a loss! Help!

gingerbread men is a brilliant idea. a shit idea is some carrots (and other crudites) with some dip for Donkey. but deffo yes to the gingerbread men.

Oh OK. I might find out how many children will be there and we could take one for each of them.

We really must watch the film as DH looks scarily like Shrek, even when he's not green!

Ooh thank you, lots more suggestions. I'm going to ring my pal and see what other people are bringing.

I did think of "Lord of the Onion Rings" or just "Lord of the Rings" and take hoola hoops.
