DH got two packs out instead of one. I'm not impressed as I am trying to keep a lid on spending and waste. I'm pretty sure I can't just referee but I'm wondering if I can cook half and then freeze it. Does anyone know please and has done this successfully ie not given anyone food poisoning?!

Yes, if you cook it you can then refreeze it.

Thank you. I'm planning on cooking it all and then making any left overs into soup. I think that will work.

You can freeze once in a raw state and then freeze again once cooked. You just wouldn't refreeze if you haven't cooked it first

I'm wondering if the cat pinched some as there are only two bits left! Still a very useful thread though so thank you to everyone who posted.
