"Sweet" treats for a not quite diabetic?

DMIL has been diagnosed as a borderline diabetic and she is looking to reduce her sugar intake/eat sensibly/take more exercise to prevent this happening.

However she does have a sweet tooth, and as we're hosting over Christmas, I'd like to find some recipes that she can eat so she doesn't feel left out as we all tuck into mince pies!

Please can anyone help and point me in the direction of ideas for this? Thanks!

Try looking on pinterest, search for low carb or paleo christmas recipes, there are loads of recipes out there - I'm collecting them for my own Xmas treats!

Never thought about Pinterest as an option. I'll have a look there! Thanks.

Diabetes UK is a great source of information.
There's some info on food at Xmas and links to lots of other recipes here
