WWYD - roast chicken sat in cold oven all night

Last night I cooked a roast chicken. After dishing up I put the remainder back in the cooling oven intending to pick the meat off once the DC were in bed and put it in the fridge for a stir fry tonight.

I've just discovered it in the oven still so it's sat there all night. DC are 3 and 11 months. It smells fine and I'd probably eat it but the children??

What do you think?

I'd use it, it should be fine.

I def wouldn't, not chicken.

I'd use it but in something in which it'll get reheated again to a high temperature: curry, risotto, casserole, pie, fried rice.

lighteningirl · 18/11/2015 17:50

I do this all the time it'll be fine

I once did that but didn't find the chicken until the following Thursday. That was not a nice experience.

I'd probably eat it (yours, not mine) but wouldn't give it to my DS.

I do this all the time too, never had a problem.

Ok. I wimped out of using it for the DC but will have it with DH later I think. Thank you all
