It was sausages, sliced cooked jacket potatoes, cooked sweet potato, baby onions & sliced onion & sliced pepper with a lot of water and a stock oval jelly thing all in the oven for about an hour

The water pretty much cooked off leaving goo & everything else went a bit mushy & crispy so it wasn't a casserole; what was it? apart from lovely

Saussage Surprise...

Sausage mess or sausage mash up.

The mess could be complimentary btw, as in the pud Eton mess.

Katymac Pie

roast vegetables and sausage

DD has decided on "Lovely Mess" despite being 100 miles away & is quite peeved I am not delivering it to her door Hmm

She also suggested trying it with chicken thighs

But I guess it's a bake - I always thought that would be a bit more gravy ish

Can you roast in water Noah, I've always done roasted veg in oil before

I am very much a casserole/soup person - but I just converted to bakes

Bakes are my absolute favourite meal - you can be as inventive as you like, it's ridiculously easy to do and tastes great (usually).
