What christmassy flavours go with chocolate cake?

I have lots of chocolate cake offcuts in the freezer that I want to turn into cake pops for a christmas themed bake-off. I want to add some christmassy flavour and was thinking of orange, brandy, spices (cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg). Would these go with chocolate? Anything else I could add or does anyone have any better ideas?

Chestnut? (Thinking chocolate log, etc...)

Or hazelnut (praline).

Orange, brandy, ginger all go with chocolate.

Peppermint is also quite Christmassy (I had an amazing chocolate peppermint brownie the other day)

I went with brandy, orange zest and juice, ground cloves, ground cinnamon and chopped cranberry. They taste good but one is enough.
