I always use the same flapjack recipe:
125 g butter
125g sugar
3 squirts golden syrup (75g ish)
250 g jumbo oats
Oven at 180, roughly 20 mins on middle shelf. Now, my oven isn't great, but they stlll come out different everytime!!
Any flapjack experts know how I need to tweak my quantities to change the result? (Am currently using vitalite instead of butter, which doesn't help, as dc3 is cmpi so we're both dairy free).
I don't like them too dense, prefer a bit of sticky chew, nice darker crunch on the edge. Any suggestions?? Tia.
