Bit of a fail with my lasagne recipe today. It tasted fine but fell short on various things so I need help with the best way to layer it, ie how many pasta sheet layers is best, and how long to cook it for and what temp please. All suggestions most welcome.

It was truly delicious and held together properly.

I had enough sauce for 4 pasta layers and put in just enough sauce each time to cover the layers. Which confirms thenlater advice

So I put a spray of oil in the dish then a bit of white sauce. Then pasta, meat, sauce, cheese and repeated till I had the final 4th pasta layer on top with the last of the White sauce and a sprinkling of cheese. Delicious.

I used a large square stoneware dish I have from pampered chef which seems the ideal thing to cook it in for me as it doesn't stick to the bottom or sides.
