Lemon meringue pie recipe recommendation

DD is very fond of lemon meringue pie so I decided to have a go at Mary Berry's recipe for Quickest Ever Lemon Meringue Pie.

It is the most delicious lemon meringue pie I have ever tasted. I would add that it is very sweet and next time I make it I will omit the sugar from the biscuit crumb base.

Ooh , thank you! will try this I have always done Delia's recipe , my DH loves lemon meringue.
On a side note - I used fresh raspberries and some jam instead of a lemon filling this week , worked a treat :)

DD told me that she prefers a pastry base as the biscuit one was too sweet. The filling is brilliant though.

and does the base crumble up a bit too much as well?

Yes it does. You can't serve it in neat slices.
