Very very eat fish as i thought i didnt like it, but after tasting a sample of Hake in Costco i found myself buying a full bag of it. . . . Now i just dont know what to do with it.
Marinate recipes ive seen so far. . .

olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and some delicious paprika.

Ginger + garlic + scallion + soy

Garlic + rosemary + lemon

Another other simple marinate recipe suggestions?

What about side dishes?

Hake and chips is a classic. I like hake because its a meaty fish, you could try shark.

It works well with a sweet & sour sauce. Tomato and olive sauce works as well.

Just use it as you would any other white fish. So what you would do with cod, do with hake. Fish pie, with chips, in a soy/ginger/garlic marinade and served with stir fry veg etc...

A bake with tomato, basil & olive oil or cream?

Thanks for this thread, I am terribly lazy when it comes to fish, a mental block maybe, I hate touching it, so I rarely consider cooking with it, a simple marinade is a great idea.
