Sweet potatoes

Quick question, do I peel them or not?
As a rule I only peel regular potatoes when roasting. Would I peel them for things like wedges?

I don't bother to peel them for wedges, just wash and rub with some salt and oil same as with standard potatoes.

Also, they are really good with sour cream and bacon if you're planning on baking them.

Thank you both, that's all I needed to know. I just wanted to check that the skins didn't do anything random like become very bitter or something.
