You can probably guess why from my user name but anyway I've got a guest coming to stay and want to do a full cooked breakfast

How long would you cook bacon in the oven for ? So it goes all crispy ?

Cook it under the grill not the oven. Please tell me you have eaten bacon before?!

Oh and just keep checking it. Few minutes each side I think.

Cook it a frying pan, much easier and quicker.

Cook the bacon, then cook some mushrooms in the tasty bacon flavoured fat.
I like dry cured oak smaoked back bacon best.

About 3 minutes each side under a moderate grill.

If you want to try "bacon" out you can get turkey bacon at most supermarkets and there is beef bacon as well from some halal butchers.
