I have stupidly agreed to have a Peppa pig party for my 5 year old. As it's getting closer I'm starting to panic. Does anyone have any good party food ideas or ideas for games that have a peppa pig theme please?!

When and where is it? Muddy puddles springs to mind Grin could you do a game whereby you cut out big coloured card in puddle shapes and have a jump around game to music. When the music stops everyone stand on a puddle. Take two puddles away each time, so always two out? Or musical statues like instead of musical chairs like, they jump up and down on the puddles but last one to stop jumping when music stops is out?

Perhaps a colouring corner, with printed out peppa and friends sheets to colour (folded over card to make bunting shapes, they stick the pics onto, if feeling creative?)

Pin the nose on peppa, like tail on the donkey, big pic of peppa, minus her nose, then they are blindfolded and stick a nose on. Best position wins.

Something dinosaur related for the GEORGE fans.

Percy pigs from m&s

MummaGiles · 05/11/2015 23:07

Isn't the fan episode where Peppa and George dress up as mummy and daddy pig. Do you have any old clothes they could dress people up in in teams?

MummaGiles · 05/11/2015 23:08

That should have said "isn't there an episode"

Solasum · 05/11/2015 23:08

Make characters out of playdoh/ icing?

MummaGiles · 05/11/2015 23:10

There are some detective episodes - you'd just need a hat and some clues as a treasure hunt type idea

FeelingSmurfy · 05/11/2015 23:12

Definitely go to m&s they have lots of Percy pig themed stuff, biscuits, sweets, chocolate lollipops etc

Ebay for rice paper cupcake toppers (make or buy cakes, icing and a topper) make sure they are the ones precut!

Use egg boxes, elastic and paints to make noses and twirl pipe cleaners to make curly tails? Not sure if you can do messy play where you will be

FeelingSmurfy · 05/11/2015 23:17

Simon says - oink, splash in muddy puddles etc

Treasure hunt to find all of the characters? Do a sheet with the character pics on, another sheet and cut them out (or use toys you have?)and hide, get them to work in a team to find them all

IrritableBitchSyndrome · 05/11/2015 23:21

Could you get your DP to do a 'magic daddy' rubbish magic show? I did a really cheaty PP cake by just slathering a cake in melted chocolate, standing PP toys on it and claiming it was a huge muddy puddle. Was v quick and tasty.
