Freezer malfunction - help!

Well, more of a husband malfunction (door left open) but nevermind!

Lots of stuff has defrosted overnight, so I have scrapped my plans for the day and am going to batch cook what I can. Will need to shop first so can get any ingredients necessary.

I've got ideas for most of the meat that needs using, but what can I do with several packets of sausages and some salmon filets? Not in the same recipe of course but I need something I can cook and return to the freezer - we're going away tomorrow and won't be able to eat any of it up!

Red salmon Thai curry www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4728/red-thai-salmon-curry

Just cook the sausages in a huge batch and portion into freezer bags then store for microwaving back to life as needed. You could put them in the oven while you are out shopping.

Thanks!

I did not know you could do that with sausages....

Mary Berry Sausage Lasagne .....made it after her last series, and it's delicious! I've used all sorts of different sausages and just changed the herbs to match.

freezes good as a whole uncooked ( the sausages are cooked in the prep so you'll be good to make it up and freeze it before the oven stage) And dh says it reheats nicely once frozen as leftovers.

Yep both freeze well.
