I'm getting into bulk cooking and have bought stupid amounts of Pyrex dishes to freeze batches...

What are some good recipes? I have slightly too many shepherds pies currently and need some imagination

Mac and cheese is a great freezer-friendly recipe!

I don't have my usual recipe at hand, but this recipe seems quite similar to mine. Basically, you boil the pasta until just-before ready and drain it; then you cook your béchamel (which you can adapt by putting in any kind of cheese you prefer); then you mix the pasta with the sauce and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top; finally, you either freeze it at this point, or you bake it.

Hope that helps! Smile

We always have these three dishes bagged into portions in the freezer:

Spag Bol (for the obvious use with spaghetti but also to make quick & easy lasagne or Cannelloni and to have with jacket potatoes.

Chilli con Carne

Chicken & Butternut Squash Casserole

Leftovers soup.
It's a bid to make our food budget go further so I have a mix of chopped vegetables usually with one of either pearl barley, rice, split peas or lentils. Any leftover meat thst suits goes in too.
Vegetable/chicken stock and usually a bay leaf.
Best. Lunch. Ever Smile

Fish pie - jamie oliver's is nice but i leave out the eggs if freezing. They seem to get tough.
Curries - they often benefit from a second cooking (though I'd do that in a pan, not pyrex.)
Lasagnes, meta and veggie.
Sausage casserole.
