I need to produce a three course dinner for 14 fourteen year-old boys. For the main course I am going to roast a number(5?) of chickens, with sausages, bacon rolls a mountain of potatoes, broccoli etc..I'll probably do smoked salmon to start, unless anyone has a brighter idea but I could really do with some ideas for pudding. Not meringue (because DS hates it).

Thank you

Sticky toffee pudding. Or chocolate sponge & custard.

You can't go wrong with a nice 'pudding' - chocolate self saucing, sticky toffee etc. Only thing really is whether oven space is available given that you are roasting 5!! chickens.... Thinking about it it might make your life easier if you do something like ice cream sundaes as suggested by pp, where the sauce etc could be made ahead / self assembly
