I just discovered I really like truffles

Really really like truffles!

I discovered this via a £3 jar of truffle pesto.

What other cheapie truffle things should I get hold of and inhale like a mad woman

And if I were going to drop hints to DP about what slightly pricier truffle treat to get me for my birthday what should it be?

Carluccios do nice truffle oils, both white and black. Lovely on pasta.

Breastmilk eh? I wasn't breastfed beyond about 3 weeks but I've recently finished a stint of 18 months feeding my DD and I tasted plenty during that time- I'm not convince it was very umami but there was a definite hint of goat milk to it so perhaps there's something a bit off-tasting linked there.
I was not happy to realise I taste like goat.

DD is a marmite and bovril fiend, not tried her on truffles yet....
