DS age 10 does a strenuous activity 3 times a week and coach has said he needs to refuel his body within the hour with high protein bars, drinks etc.

OK all the bars, flapjacky, oakmealy things that are high protein eg. 21gs per bar in the shops he doesn't like.

So I thought I make myself, does anyone already do this and could share a recipe. He likes chocolate chip rather than nuts

Google Jamie Eason recipes on bodybuilding.com. She does lots - protein cake bars too, they taste nice

great thanks, I saw the no bake ones but didn't think there was enough protein in them

actually have just had a look at the no bake ones and they state 10g per bar so not bad actually...don't like the fact though you have to put in protein whey was hoping to make from natural ingrediants

Show about a hard boiled egg and a glass of milk? Or a lump of cheese and an apple?
