Has anyone successfully made their own fondant fancies??

I've tried twice and it was pure disaster both times.

No, tried once looked hideous tasted lovely they are now referred to as splat cakes in my house.

Yes they tasted good, although for me the icing was way too thick. Don't know what went wrong!

Mine was too watery didn't stick. Was supposed to dip the cakes in but that didn't work at all.

I made a batch once, they took all day! I say there was one or two out of say 15 that I thought looked presentable. I might try again sometime.
