I am an accomplished cook and can cook most type of food. I used to have job where I started early and was home by 4 pm so cooked main family meal on the day. Now will bw home just before 7 with job which starts at 9.
Can you recommend any blog links to recipes or cookbooks you found useful? We eat prreatty much anything or I can substitute.

I am currently looking through Cook express and found few inspirations but could do with more.

I am hopinzg to create my own cookbookk out of those so it is easier to meal plan for once a week big shop.

BBC Good Food website is pretty useful for this kind of thing. Sometimes they take too many shortcuts for my liking but if you're an experienced cook you'll have a feel for where you'd like to tweak the recipes I think.

Thanks!
I made macaroni cheese for meal after school and will use leftovers from todays roasted chicken to make some sort of pie in the evening. They don't like mushrooms but leeks will do instead.

Nigel Slater's the 30 min cook has lots of simple, great tasting and quick things.

Obviously Jamie's 15 min meals are quick and lots of nice ideas for variety.

Will there be anyone in the house who can turn the oven on before you get home? I find that oven heat up time pretty much rules out most oven dishes if you are trying to get food on the table within 30 mins.

I quite like the packs of pre-chopped vegetables as well when I'm in a real rush.
