My lo has cut down on drinking his milk, would like some ideas of what to do to increase drinking milk and thought about a nice smoothie recipe. Have tried a few from recipe books but they haven't gone down that well with lo and I tasted and thought that they weren't that great. Any recipes appreciated or good combinations of fruit ?

Any other ideas of how I can increase the milk ??

Milk with banana and raspberry/peach/plum/blueberry is nice. If you add a bit of full-fat yogurt, it's better.

One of our favs is strawberries, milk, maplesyrup to sweeten and a squeeze of orangejuice - delicious! Can add some yog too if you fancy it.

try milk and just banana to start them off (add more things as they get hooked on smoothies). I add lots of honey for taste, a teaspoon of vanilla flavour and some yogurt. If he really wont' go for it, add a bit of chocolate powder for flavour if you don't mind a bit of sugar, otherwise stick to honey or maplesyrup as someone mentioned.

Does he eat cheese and yogurt? Lots of calcium in those.
