Hi,

I'm planning to make Mary Berry's Death by Chocolate cake for my boy's birthday. One of his friends is lactose-intolerant and I don't want her to feel different, so I was planning to replace the 225 mls regular milk with soya milk. Would this work, or would it curdle or spoil the cake's flavour?

Thanks!

Yep, it works fine, though I just use lactofree, instead.

Almond milk tastes better in baking IMO, or just use lacto free milk.

I use coconut milk in mine as dd2 is df and her little friend is df and sf.

Although you've possibly already made it by now Grin
