Hi,
I am getting a slowcooker for my birthday this month, which I'm very excited about! Given I am a slowcooker novice, I am looking for suggestions of good family recipe books. I have looked online but there are so many it is hard to know where to start! Plus I'd be grateful for any slowcooker blog recommendations too.

Many thanks in advance

Slow cooker central. It's an Australian book, but I've just bought it off ABC online for £13 Inc post from Oz. That was with a half price discount code that's still currently valid, I think.
I originally bought the book on my kindle, but much prefer having a hard copy of a recipe book.
There's a fb page too, slow cooker recipes 4 families, I think it's called.

Slow Cook by Anthony Worrall Thompson. Very good recipes.

I like Cara Hobday's "The ultimate slow cooker cookbook".

I have used a couple of recipes from allrecipes. I think a couple of our favourites were pork carnitas and riko's beef brisket.
Yum.
